2.3. 2013: tasting of Balkan cuisine

Some of you joined us for the first time, some already repeated last year´s tasting. In year 2012 we honoured Sicilian cuisine, this year 21 of us enjoyed taste of the Balkan cuisine. And what the rich menu offered to us? As a started we had grilled peppers stuffed with feta cheese, prosciutto, olives, feta cheese, Balkan cheese, homemade bread, ayvar, kajmak with paprika and cheese. The main course consisted of a selection of cevapi, pljeskavica, lamb sausages on the grill, grilled vegetables and home-baked potatoes. We tried traditional dessert and drank Macedonian white wine.
